Maré is being made now, at the heart of the casa. The menu will be short. It will turn with the catch and the season.
The wine will be Portuguese, almost all of it. Dinner will be taken on the terrace as the light goes gold.

The tide sets the table
The fishermen still land the catch at the cove below the village. The garden and the wood fire will do the rest. There has always been a fire at the heart of the casa: the summer room keeps a bread oven built into its old chimney.
